PTO Volunteer Lists and Information

The PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization along with the Booster Club supports the entire school system (PK-12).  PTO will be focusing their efforts on communication between school and home. Part of our mission will be discovering what the Bosco Catholic School System needs for support and volunteers.

We provide volunteers for Teachers' Dinner, Bookfair, Open House, and Spring Picnic. We will also be responsible for getting classroom and library volunteers. We ask that every family help with at least one project or activity. 

The PTO sponsors recycling opportunities that not only allows you to get rid of clutter at your home and office but make money for the school at the same time:

Can Redemption Fundraiser:  You can donate your redeemable cans and bottles to school by dropping them off at the shed outside the high school in Gilbertville. This brings in about $5,000 per year to the school.

Paper Recycling:  Drop off any unwanted newspaper, office paper, phonebooks, and cardboard to the semi trailer parked at the north end of the plaza. This brings in approximately $6,000 per year.

The PTO purchaseD 10 IPADs for St. Joseph School and helped fund the playground equipment installation at St. Joseph School.

The PTO will hold four meetings through the school year.  Our committee will consist of one parent and one teacher from each grade level.   Everyone is welcome to come and share any ideas you may have.  Thank you.
