The Don Bosco Archery team participated in the Iowa State NASP Bullseye Tournament in Des Moines on Sunday, March 11. The team had 13 State qualifiers. The qualifiers were Kaiser Bovy, Parker Lutgen, Madison Long, Hudson Ortner, Jonathan Darrah, Emily Naughton, Katey Schmit, Elliott Brincks, John Pranger, Chris Wehr, Ryan McFadden, Dylan Youngblut, and Jacob Weber.

Three archers, Emily Naughton, Hudson Ortner, and Jonathan Darrah, shot their personal best scores ever at state. Jonathan Darrah tied for the Boys Middle School State Championship. He ended up in second place after a shoot-out, losing by just 1 point, finishing 2nd out of 408 middle school boys in the state (6th,7th, & 8th grade).

 Jonathan Darrah also qualified for the National tournament May 10-12th in Louisville Kentucky. It's the second year in a row that he qualified for Nationals.

The Archery team at Don Bosco is coached by Randy Weber, Al Neebel and Jeff Ortner. It consists of 24 students from 4th grade through High School.
