Bosco Catholic School System's St. Joseph Center offers a learning environment that helps preschool students grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. We encourage our students to explore and discover their surroundings, as they learn how to play with others, problem-solve, and use their imagination. Our preK program is centered in the teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith. 

A focus on diverse learning styles leads our day, and our curriculum emphasizes learning through play. With a variety of activities, we grow and shape young minds. After-school care is available for full-day students.

BCSS preschool strives to form bonds towards a familial relationship within the classroom. We love and care for your children as if they were our own. Leading by the example set by Christ and a focus on the Golden rule, we nurture the development of empathy, love, caring, and concern for one's peers.

Does your child need care after the school day ends? 

Our ABC After School Program offers affordable care at $4 per child. Spots are limited, so reserve your space early by submitting the $65 registration fee and ABC application (below). ABC is licensed through the State of Iowa Department of HHS. The ABC program is housed at Immaculate Conception School in Gilbertville. Students are transported from St. Joseph to Immaculate Conception via a BCSS bus. Grades K-5 may also use ABC, so busy families enjoy one pick-up location (by 5:30 PM). Snacks are included.

2. $65 family application fee (nonrefundable)
3. Sunscreen Form
4. Health Form (we'll use the one the school receives)
