Covid-19 Guidelines Update 9-30-20
September 30, 2020
Dear Bosco families,
Yesterday new guidance was released from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) that no longer requires students/staff to quarantine when in close contact (under 6 feet for more than 15 minutes) with a positive case if both individuals were consistently and correctly wearing masks. The following IDPH Infographic explains the new guidance for non-healthcare and non-residential settings. We are working with our local public health department, school board, and the Office of Catholic Schools to make sure that we do what is best for the health and safety of our students while at the same time keeping students in school whenever possible. Handwashing, staying home when sick, and physical distancing continue to be important mitigation efforts.
We will communicate to you if any changes in our current protocols will be made. The new guidance will be discussed at the October 13th board meeting.
Thank you for your support of our school. Please continue to pray for all those affected and an end to this virus. As always, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with any questions.
Yours in Christ,
Casey Redmond and Shelby Douglas
