What Makes Bosco System Great?
There are many things that set us apart from other schools in the area. Below are a few that we feel you might have an interest in knowing more about.
The Slingerland Approach to Reading
This classroom adaption of the Orton-Gillingham method has been taught by thousands of teachers since the 1960's. It is a way of adding sight, sound, and touch in a multi-sensory way of learning to read.
Some of the advantages to the Slingerland approach are:
- A simultaneous multi-sensory total language approach
- Documented success
- Can be used in any classroom setting
- Meets instructional needs of children in general education and those with dyslexia or those experiencing language difficulties
