John Deere Foundation Programs: Dollars for Doers and Matching Gifts

Alumni, Parents, Staff, and School Supporters:

The John Deere Foundation Programs--Dollars for Doers and Matching Gifts--includes the Bosco Catholic School System as an eligible cause!

John Deere matches donations of cash or volunteer hours up to a budgeted amount per fiscal year for qualifying non-profit organizations. Cash donations are dollar for dollar and volunteer hours are funded at $20 per hour, also up to a budgeted amount. In 2023, John Deere matched each employee’s contributions or volunteer hours up to $3500. Cash donations are tax deductible, and an official tax receipt can be downloaded from the Power for Good tool.

Eligible employees are active US John Deere employees, full-time salaried and production employees and salaried employees in the Part-time Employee Program.

Thank you for supporting the Bosco Catholic School System.

More details on Dollars for Doers Program:  The John Deere Foundation may provide a grant to any qualifying organization at which an employee volunteers at a rate of $20 per hour up to a budget amount per employee per year.  The employee must be volunteering with the recipient organization at the time the grant is requested, not a year later.  The program follows Deere & Company’s fiscal year (1st of November to 31st of October).  Dollars for Doers gifts must be submitted in the Power for Good tool on or before the 31st of October, to be eligible, in accordance with the program guidelines. Employees should verify this is still correct as details could change.
