Hawkeye Community College Classes

    • You are required to purchase your own textbooks or course materials for online classes. The Hawkeye Bookstore is a great option for purchases and rentals.

  • How will my Hawkeye credits transfer to UNI, Iowa State, or the University of Iowa?
  • To take Hawkeye classes you will need to set up a My Hawkeye Account. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for directions.

  • Online through the University of Iowa Belin-Blank Center 

 

PSEO (Post-Seccondary Education Opportunity) UNI Classes

  • May be online or on the UNI campus.
  • Typical classes available are Religions of the World, Intro to Sociology, Human Origins, Middle East, Africa, Astronomy, etc.
  • This PSEO course request form needs to be returned to Sherice Ortman.
  • Students must also apply for admission to UNI.

Create a "My Hawkeye" Account

Use Google Chrome to create your account. The process does not work in Safari.

  • Your Hawkeye Username
    • Your username is your legal firstname.lastname. Example: robert.doe
  • Your Hawkeye Password
    • Your initial password is Hawkeye and your birthday in six digits. Example: HawkeyeMMDDYY
    • Once you are logged in you will need to change your password. 
  • Answer the Questions
    • As you answer keep pressing Next to get to next screen.
    • If the system asks to verify payment, go ahead and choose yes, as high school students are not billed. The bill will go to Don Bosco.
  • Arrive at your My Hawkeye Screen 
    • Icons on left side of screen will access your email and Canvas where your classes are listed

If you are having difficulty logging in, call to ask for a password reset. Be prepared to answer a few identification confirmation questions.
